Hindley Mark Masons Remember |
8th November 2015 |
Last years Remembrance Day Parade at Hindley was a crisp and sunny Autumnal day, what a contrast to the drab and overcast skies which welcomed a large throng to the 2015 Remembrance Sunday Parade at Hindley Cenotaph this year. This didn't dampen the spirits of Brethren of Red Rose Mark Lodge No. 1594, who joined a whole host of military and community organisations, to lay a wreath on behalf of the Mark Province of West Lancashire. |

The parade marches off in good style to rousing music played by a brass band with veterans taking pride of place. |
The Mark Masons of Hindley was called out by the Colour Sergeant officiating at the event, and one of Red Rose's |
newest members, Eric Bailey, stepped forward proudly to lay the West Lancashire Mark Masons' poppy wreath on the Cenotaph. |

(after finally persuading Chris Reeman to have his picture taken on his lonesome, just to prove he was with us on the day). |
