Hindley Mark Masons Remember
8th November 2015

Last years Remembrance Day Parade at Hindley was a crisp and sunny Autumnal day, what a contrast to the drab and overcast skies which welcomed a large throng to the 2015 Remembrance Sunday Parade at Hindley Cenotaph this year. This didn't dampen the spirits of Brethren of Red Rose Mark Lodge No. 1594, who joined a whole host of military and community organisations, to lay a wreath on behalf of the Mark Province of West Lancashire.

The parade marches off in good style to rousing music played by a brass band with veterans taking pride of place.
The Mark Masons of Hindley was called out by the Colour Sergeant officiating at the event, and one of Red Rose's
newest members, Eric Bailey, stepped forward proudly to lay the West Lancashire Mark Masons' poppy wreath on the Cenotaph.
A final reflective moment for Red Rose Brethren before returning home
(after finally persuading Chris Reeman to have his picture taken on his lonesome, just to prove he was with us on the day).
